How are sales? That’s the question on everyone’s mind these days. Throughout he recession and now that we’re officially in recovery, according to Federal Re- serve Chairman Ben Ber- nanke, operators of bars, restaurants and night-
clubs have been watch-
ing their sales figures
like hawks. They’re also
looking to see how everyone else is doing
as a barometer of the marketplace and as
a way to discover new opportunities. Other
than anecdotal accounts, however, current
broad-market on-premise drink sales data
has been non-existent.
