Bonterra Dry Rosé
Martini & Rossi rounds out its “sparkling trio”
with the introduction of the aromatic Sparkling
Rosé. Cultivated in the Piedmont and Veneto
regions in Italy and made with hand-picked
Moscato Bianco, Malvasia and Brachetto
grapes, the light, crisp rosé joins the sparkling
wine collection of Asti and Prosecco. Available in 750 ml bottles and 187 ml four-packs,
the Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé blends
hints of citrus, elderflower and soft peach
with delicate notes of wild rose.

After a limited release of its first dry
rosé, Bonterra Vineyards rolls out its
2008 dry rosé nationally. The second
vintage is a blend of Sangiovese,
Zinfandel and Syrah, with touches of
Rhone varietals such as Carignane,
Grenache and Mouvedre. Sourced from
Mendocino and Amador county vineyards, the blend brings out aromas and
flavors of strawberry, cherry, raspber-
ries, watermelon, tea, spice and vanilla.

Kenwood White Table Wine and
Gewürztraminer
Kenwood Vineyards has released its
2008 White Table Wine and Gewürztraminer. The Kenwood White Table
Wine blends Sauvignon Blanc and
Chardonnay; the result is fresh, vibrant
flavors of pineapple, lemon and tropi-
cal fruit complemented by a background note of sweet vanilla. In the Gewürztraminer, peach, lychee and orange zest
highlight the flavors, along with signature Gewürztraminer
“spice.” Both are bottled just months after the vintage.
